I think some of it has to do with the inaction or slow action toward issues
I remember him taking shots at fans who were complaining about Tuiaki two years before the collapse and release of Tuiaki.
When fans are ferrating out problems before the head man does, then that is a problem.

the defense wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad until 2022. fans are ALWAYS ahead of coaches when it comes to complaining.
