If Detmer was going to be canned, Tuiaki should have been.
Tuiaki's defenses were always bad, and he didn't have the excuses of injuries that Detmer did. Sitake should have let Tuiaki go at the same time Detmer went. He didn't, because Tuiaki was his bud. Sitake's favoritism hurt the program badly.

the defense wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad until 2022. fans are ALWAYS ahead of coaches when it comes to complaining.
