tax system and how it's spent can be better but It's the only way to have
a reasonably safe, stable and functioning society. Do you want to build on maintain your own roads system, your own water and sewer system, fund your own personal militia and protection. The list goes on and on the things we have to work and fund together.

Subs in my district make between $20-21/hour. That's still a couple of bucks an hour above the fast food joints.

I can't speak for all districts, but my wife teaches in Nebo and the starting pay has definitely gotten better through
