The state just allocated a good raise for teachers. My wife gets paid as a

teacher and the income is really respectable now. When she started 10 years ago it was sad, but starting pay has almost doubled in the last 10 years. I think teachers get fair compensation. Now the improvements needed are school politics and how kids and parents respect the teachers. My wife is lucky to work in a school with great parents and kids.
