30 years in with a Master degree can get you there. Throw in a few stipends for extra responsibilities at your school,
and it can put you over.
My wife gets stipends for being her school's social media coordinator and benefits representative in addition to a mentoring stipend for overseeing newer teachers at her school. It can be done.
Also Alpine School District and others pay more than Nebo does.

Subs in my district make between $20-21/hour. That's still a couple of bucks an hour above the fast food joints.
