I am that guy. Base salary is 86 + other stipends (coaching, degree status, etc
) puts me over 100 plus the additional 10 percent match into my 401k puts it around 120k.

Subs in my district make between $20-21/hour. That's still a couple of bucks an hour above the fast food joints.
