My particular view is BYU's mission focus over NFL placement

is the reason for the big change in attitude of top LDS recruits, if there really has been one.

I don't follow recruiting nearly as much as you do, so defer to your expertise.

Since I don't see BYU's focus on being an RM-heavy football team changing anytime soon given what I hear in Conference every six months from the BOT, I think BYU will continue to struggle to land top LDS talent with real NFL aspirations.

BYU has 12 AP top 20 finishes (17 top 25) ever. ~25% are under Bronco.
