Not consistently. We don't recruit well enough to expect top 25 rankings year in
and year out. I think BYU already overachieves given many of its natural limitations (geography, religious affiliation, lack of major conference affiliation, honor code restrictions, academic restrictions, etc.).

BYU has been better than it probably should be over the years because it has always had the ability to recruit the two most important positions on the field really well. We have been good (despite lacking speed and athleticism) because we often have above average quarterbacks and offensive linemen.
