Unfortunately, I think that period is an anomaly.

A lot of different factors combined to make that a very special period in BYU football history. We began utilizing a pass first offense when most of the rest of the college football world was still running variations of the 3 yards and a cloud of dust offense. I don't think those years can be duplicated again.

BYU has 12 AP top 20 finishes (17 top 25) ever. ~25% are under Bronco.
