I doubt it. Calling all teachers out for the false narrative that you work more
Then 40-50 hours during the school year and more than 10-20 hrs per week during the summer. I’m friends and acquaintances with dozens of teachers from public and private schools from multiple states. You guys get about 2-3 months off per year, I’ve known multiple teachers to take second jobs during the summer for supplemental income.

Subs in my district make between $20-21/hour. That's still a couple of bucks an hour above the fast food joints.

I can't speak for all districts, but my wife teaches in Nebo and the starting pay has definitely gotten better through

30 years in with a Master degree can get you there. Throw in a few stipends for extra responsibilities at your school,
