I think he makes a valid point.
Occasionally Retzlaff hurts the team with poor decisions. Sometimes he hurts the team with poor execution. Sometimes it’s a combination of both.
This specific example showed Retzlaff making a good decision, but not executing. While it didn’t result in a turnover, it highlights an inconsistent execution that prevents offensive progress which over time hurts the team.
