My biggest thing with Jake is to figure out 2 things. How/when to throw the end zone fade, and more selectivity when
throwing on the run.
The failed end zone fade throw to the right side has changed several games for the worse. Figure out how and when to throw it correctly, or just stop.
Throwing on the run. Generally, he is not good off of his back foot (mediocre at best) or throwing on the run. Ok to do with clear lanes with limited defensive coverage, but more often than not that is something you either tuck and run, or throw away. Too much hero ball has hurt him.
But outside of those two issues, he is an outstanding QB for us, and I expect big things next year.
