BOOO... Who wants to be a QB for a fan base like ours? Go 11-2 and your fans aren't on your side? What? "Come to BYU
where you'll go 11-2 and fans will still hate on you" is not the best recruiting strategy. And it's not just players we're recruiting...we're always recruiting coaches, donors, advertisers, fans, allies etc...)
We should be pumping up this team/program. "We were so close. I can't wait for next year. Our players are awesome. Our coaches are awesome. The school admins are awesome. The media department is awesome. The NIL donors are awesome. You want to be here. We are winning and we are doing it with class."
This should be our narrative... not "Our coaches and qb aren't good enough, but you should come anyway."
