Jake is such a like-able guy and we were 11-2, so hard to critique... but we must. 4 INTs in that game. Stay with me....
Officially he had 2. Both were pretty egregious as they directly took points off the board (Ferrin is automatic so I'm gonna assume at a minimum 6, at a max, 14). The pitch to the TE was ill-advised as it was not open at all and should have thrown it into the ground and lived to play another down (I believe it was first or second down).

The other one he threw in the endzone and it was just not open at all, double coverage.

He also threw a horrible INT that wasn't even close on that play that was called back because of defensive offisdes (this is number 3 I am referring to). It was not even close to our guy. Yes I know it was a "free play" but would like to see a big pick up potentially on a free play not an INT that wasn't even close.

He also threw another INT on a 2 point conversion that almost got housed for 2 points if not for the Colorado DB stepping out of bounds. Though it doesn't count as an INT on the stat sheet, it was indeed an INT that took 2 points off the board.

This is a horrible pattern he developed over the last half of the season for the last 2 years.

Ill-advised INTs killed us against Kansas and ASU.

He's not accurate enough IMO for us to improve on 11-2 next year and potentially win the conference. Too much of a wild card. Even in games where our defense is getting 2-3 turnovers, we might lose the turnover margin which is ridiculous.

All of this, with little to no pressure for much of the game. He wasn't being hurried on those INTs, just made bad throws and poor decisions. That is concerning to me going forward and I don't expect that our offense will win us many games next year, which means if defense is having a bad game, we lose just like we did to Kansas and ASU. Would love to see slightly better, more consistent QB play.

Again, not slighting Jakes as I really like him. Trying to be objective despite the great season record.
