transfers than they were in high school:
Alabama - Kam Dewberry (4 star, 95 overall to 3 star, 89 overall)
Georgia - Zion Branch (4 star, 97 overall to 3 star, 87 overall)
Texas - Travis Shaw (5 star, 98 overall to 3 star, 89 overall)
Georgia - Zachariah Branch (5 star, 99 overall to 4 star, 95 overall)
I looked for maybe five minutes and found these guys. Sure, these schools get guys that stay rated what they were coming out of high school. But those guys are contributing starters on legit teams (e.g., Isaiah Horton was a starting WR at Miami with 50+ catches that was a 4*, transferred as a 4*). It isn't uncommon at all for transfers to be rated lower than they were in high school and then transfer to legit SEC schools.
