ESPN FPI, for example, takes into account your recruiting rankings. It's the main reason why FPI is always projecting BYU extremely low. Then the playoff committee goes out and looks at all these power rankings that rely, in part, on recruiting rankings, and under value BYU.

I honestly don't care what the transfers are rated at, but 247 lost ALL credibility when they rated high 5 star recruits
