Here's an idea. Let's have the lowly G5 champions play some games against the

power conference teams to determine if they "deserve" to be in the playoffs or not. We can call it the "first round," and whoever wins gets to play in a Round of 16 game a week or so later.

I know this sounds crazy, but I've actually heard of other sports doing things like this before, and people like it. It's pretty popular. Maybe college football fans would like it too...
