and dud games — how about ND losing to NIU? Tennessee lost to Arkansas (same team that lost to 0-9 Oklahoma State)

It happens.... but BYU is being punished more comparatively.

BYU also has one of the best wins in the country. Several teams that don't even have a top 25 win: ND, Texas, Penn St, Miami, Clemson, Indiana etc.

BYU resume is #12 based on objective SOR. We shouldn't have ever dropped below Tulane. If BYU had the same exact resume with a different logo they would for sure be in the discussion right now.
