BYU has holes but not as big of a gap as they should. Being in the lower teens

with all these other teams on the fringe of a playoff berth doesn't make sense.

BYU's Resume is #12 (SOR). They tied for 1st in a P4 conference and beat the #1 ACC team on the road. This would put almost any other logo in the mix for an at large bid or at the very least under strong consideration.

Somehow BYU was viewed more highly in their MW days.
