Those teams are all very close.
My hope is that that last spot ends up working as a fudge factor for the ACC (specifically SMU if they lose to Clemson) but I'm not happy with the way it looks like the Committee is positioning Alabama (3 losses) or Miami (2 losses, weak resume) to slide into the 12 or 11 slots.
But with BYU:
- Trending down at the end of the season
- Having a loss worse than anyone in the top 15
- Being a smaller brand in a worse conference
I just don't see them ever winning that head to head
