That's a fine principle, and makes sense. And I see what you're getting at.
But setting a target # of hours that a person should be working at a certain stage in life is a silly (and probably destructive, IMO) exercise. So much of that depends on that person's talents and capabilities, desires, opportunities, and numerous family dynamics. And that's what Harlem's poll was attempting to do, and what some of his past commentary on here suggests he sees as a priority.
