I know when I worked in the Fortune 100 world, that all the Managers and up put
in at least 50 hrs/week if not a whole lot more. VPs normally put in 60hrs, some of it from home. There was just too much work to do to put in less. However, the next level down where most of the non-career people were, they tended to work just their 40.
