Not just PB. If you are asking why does the news only report the PB attacks and not others, that is a very fair question. It seems that it is media following (and building on) the narrative that PB are more dangerous. It would be interesting to see if there is any causality that can be found as to why the PB breed has a higher number of attacks overall and more deadly ones as well. I would imagine if you look at total PBs in the US, the number in any given year that actually carry out a vicious attack is still very small, if not a statistically insignificant portion of the population. The articles I found don't provide numbers as a percent of total dogs of the breed. I think that would be the more interesting and perhaps more valuable statistic. But wish so many unregistered dogs, not sure you could even come up with a number that would be meaningful

Do you work with dogs? What is your opinion on PBs and if they are more dangerous?
