is he a man, but he appears to be man who has been given every advantage in life, and presumably been provided a station in life where consequences and actions should have been clear based on the family he grew up in.
As much as I see no reason to throw the proverbial book at him, I also detest the narrative that seems to make him sound like he somehow deserves less consequence because he's just a kid. He's not.
And he's certainly not some 15 yo kid who grew up in a difficult situation where right and wrong was a real (and dubious) choice nearly every day with little positive guidance.
