“Adequately provide” is all encompassing.
And it’s not just referring to financial providing. If he works 60+ hours but that prevents him from having time to provide for the spiritual and social needs of his family, then that’s too much. So I’ll stick with my answer. As many hours as required to adequately provide for his family.
