That's a completely different argument. If you want to move on from your other
point that's fine. Before we move on though, you have to concede you were wrong since the numbers show pit bulls kill much much more than their fair share (6% of the dog population responsible for 71% of the deaths).

As for your new argument, you're leaving out non-fatal attacks, which are very common. 4.5 million per year according to the CDC. That's not insubstantial.

You mention bathtubs, swimming pools and choking. I'm not sure why you went this direction. Water and food are inanimate objects. I can protect my family from them by taking a few basic precautions. What I cannot control is whether my neighbor one house away with the pit bull is able to keep his vicious dog inside his fence.
