apropo of nothing, the most vicious dogs I've ever encountered when walking with my dog(s) were this pair of
Rhodesian Ridgebacks owned by a crazy lady who walked her dogs off leash at Red Butte, like I do.
She literally LAUGHED when her dogs attacked my old Lab. I couldn't freaking believe it. She laughed while I panicked and put myself in the middle of it. If I could relive that day, I'd would go back in time, be less stunned, and punch her. And I've never wanted to do that to anyone (maybe I wanted to hypothetically kick someone once...)
Turned out she'd been cited 2-3 times by the police for her dogs' behavior off leash, and I was told to call them immediately if I saw her again.

I have Labs myself but I like the pit breed because 1) its small, 2) doesn't shed much, 3) very smart,
