Maybe you’re not coming across (to many on here) how you think you are?
As for me: I was clear that I sometimes waste time. But…I own my own business now. So all the talk about guilt was when I worked for someone else in the past. It’s my own time I’m wasting communicating with you on CB.
Your words are a great example of why I’m hesitant to let my employees work from home. I’d suggest changing your message if your goal is to convince people that WFH is a good idea. As an employer I want my employees to have a good work-life balance. But I don’t want them gleefully (even if it’s gratefully) NOT working. I only have one salaried employee, and he still does all he can to out in a full day of work. But…I also still pay him overtime if he works more than 40 hrs (to address another of your comments).
