OK, let's talk practicalities. It is not practical to expect everyone to drive.
It's simply too expensive for many, and our roads can't handle that much traffic. If we're talking practicality, it's MUCH more practical to lean heavily into transit options, with biking as the "last mile" for people after they get off transit. That's the best way to move a lot of people on the road.
