Somewhere designed for bicycles.
Roads were not designed for bicycles unless there is a dedicated bike lane.
It's simple math on roadways.
Cars weigh more than bicycles. Are larger than bicycles. Are more visible than bicycles.
We're not Holland or wherever bikes are the bees knees. We didn't build America around cyclists, but motorists. Trying to conform a dainty bicycle to a roadway made for vehicles that start at 1-2 tons on up and have speed limits 2-5x a bicycle's speed is borderline insane. I'm amazed at how many insist on it. It's sad, but we can't stop you since the law allows you to ride in the car roadways.

If they can go as fast as the speed limit and they’re willing to obey traffic laws, I’m fine with them sharing the road.

At least they weren’t riding side by side and talking. I really hate that. Cyclists are so oblivious to cars sometimes.
