They are allowed by law. However, just like in the Bible there is a higher law.
The higher law is called the Law of Lug Nuts. The vehicle with the most lug nuts wins. Every time. Cars and Truck have many lug nuts. Bicycles have one. Bicycles are great for cardio but bad for living a long life.

If they can go as fast as the speed limit and they’re willing to obey traffic laws, I’m fine with them sharing the road.

At least they weren’t riding side by side and talking. I really hate that. Cyclists are so oblivious to cars sometimes.
