and Oklahoma when it isn’t. Oklahoma wasn’t good this year so beating them shouldn’t be considered a “signature win”. Whereas beating ASU shouldn’t have been considered signature. I don’t disagree that the conference is perceived as less without Texas and Oklahoma. My point is that perception can be wrong and that the product on the field may not be any worse without those two programs and you shouldn’t penalize programs because they didn’t have what you call a signature win but they beat really good teams.
