At the end of the day those of us who thought BSU getting a bye was ridiculous
were right. You can try to defend them all you want, be impressed with their close loss to Oregon as you wish, while somehow ignoring their close wins over Georgia Southern, Nevada, and Wyoming.
But they got their chance, a better chance than they deserved. They got a bye and then didn't even have to play one of the best 5 teams in the playoff... and they lost by 3 scores.
They deserved a bid and a double digit seed but anyone who thought they were worthy of a quarterfinal spot was proven dead wrong.
Hopefully adjustments are made so it doesn't happen again.

We all knew Boise wasn't one of the four best teams. I was still happy they got (shoganai, Jan 1, 2025 at 9:56am)
