The student is wrong and gives dubious recommendations. There are literally more than 100 places here with better BBQ
BUT I don’t mind Salt Lick as much as some here. Maybe as an introductory place for TX BBQ.

I hate to be that guy but that brisket looks very dry and not very good. There are some great places in Austin

Spent no time in TX but had BBQ in AL & GA plenty. Realize TX is different. Honestly neither of those meats today were
