You took one line out of context. You did not include saying many have other ways to leave. I was specifically speaking on one group and you changed the context. It is like me saying that you said 10000% of people who leave are "seekers of truth", that is not the case....if you believe that I don't know what to say. Or you claiming most that leave are like Martin Luther (not all are).
Many don't want to discuss what they believe, they want to bash (some do want to have respectful discussions). I am not interested to hear a bash fest on our religion or any religion without substance. Personally it is not healthy, people should move on if they don't believe and only want to harm another church without having a productive discussion. If they have real thoughts they want to discuss I am always open ears.
This is a lot more prevalent in Utah. I lived in the NYC area and east coast for decades. Many left for various reasons, we had discussions and it was productive. In Utah it tends to be a bash fest more than other places. Much less productive about getting views....definitely not seeking of truth but looking to tear a religion down vs expressing views (which I am fine with).
Not sure what you don't understand? There are huge differences in bashing a religion and seeking truth and having productive discussions.
Out of curiosity do you live in Utah?
