I worked for an Utah based company for awhile and part of my time I was moved to London where our parent company was. We had a conference in London while I was there where all my Utah counterparts got to fly out.
I was sitting with my London colleagues who I had become close with over the past year and a non-member colleague from Utah. I was talking and said something like “dang.” The person from Utah immediately jumps in and says, “You’ll notice he said dang instead of cursing. It’s because he is Mormon. I’m not that so I can say words like that. You’ll also notice he doesn’t drink, but I do that too.”
After the person from Utah left my table, my colleagues from London look at me very confused at the interaction and asked me what was wrong with her?
