Honestly I think the driver going straight has the right of way. In a question about right away I believe the first thing to ask is if anyone is joining a traffic flow going in a different direction than they were when the stopped. If so, they have to yield the right of way to traffic that is continuing in the same direction at the time of the stop. But as Toklosh stated, no one knows how to do this anymore.

But in all seriousness, I have driven like this my whole life, but I would guess about 80% of the time this happened in high school the other driver would wave me through. Big trucks go first, haha!
