This made me think of the law in new Zealand, or at least how it was explained
Me when we rented a motorhome there. Those turning always have the right of way, even if there’s no stop sign or stop signal for those going straight.

You may be cruising down the highway, but if there’s a car on a small country road that wants to turn onto the highway, you have to stop for it.
