Yes - the rate increase differential between housing and pay is a real problem

I made the choice to move from SLC Metro to St Louis Metro in 2019. Nearly doubled my pay for about the same work and nearly doubled the size & quality of house at the same cost. However, within 1-2 years, Utah had/has likely priced me out of ever returning.
