Even with points, those trips aren’t cheap. If those 30 year olds saved for a

down payment for 10 years and forego expensive international vacations and just did stuff domestically or road trips, I guarantee you they would be able to save enough for a down payment and affordable mortgage.

Too many people think they need mid-life luxuries in their 20s.
