I’m in the older part of this age group and I actually know very few people who live the fancy extravagant lives described in this thread. Most young people with families that I know don’t go to Europe every year, drive fancy cars, or live in giant expensive houses. Most of our friends live in townhomes and are saving as much as they can to buy their next homes.

I am extremely grateful I’m not in college or a recent graduate trying right now coming in to the current job and housing markets, it is the worst we have seen in both in a really long time.
