It's because we're old enough to see it in our kids or their friends.

My college daughter goes on a tropical vacation a couple times a year with her friends. She has bought two cars.

Luckily she's also independent and paying for her own college needs and housing. But yeah, this generation travels a lot and eats out a ton. I saw it a lot in the ysa ward I was in too as a bishopric counselor.

They like to travel, and not to go camping
