Everyone wants to see USC return to greatness, that had little to nothing to do with Utah. Sorry, as great as your
program has been lately, you are not a national brand and nobody outside of Utah or Ute Alumni care one bit about Utah.
Those numbers are not a reflection of Utah, but a USC that everyone hopes because a powerhouse again. When USC is good, all of college football benefits.
I mean seriously, do you really think USC and UCLA are leaving the PAC because it is such an amazing conference and will be fantastic for years and decades to come? They have some really smart people who are looking at the numbers and data objectively to make good long-term decisions. They PAC will never compete with B10 or SEC in terms of money and will now start falling behind B12 and ACC. This round of TV rights will be close, but it won't stay that way moving forward, especially with those two teams leaving and Oregon/UW still refusing to sign a GOR.
Again, short-term y'all will be fine. But mid/long term...the writing is on the wall.

The article basically confirms the PAC expansion strategy is to invite teams, give them a small share of revenue,

It absolutely is. Amazon knows it is overpaying and everyone else knows the PAC will not attract any eyeballs.

Nah...missing the CFP is 100% due to parity when the top teams were upset. Oregon, USC and Utah have all bumped
