I agree. However, it's not a doomsday scenario if the price tag is $30 million +. Big 12 guys have been claiming
$20 million to $24 million as the ceiling. That doesn't seem to be the case at all.

Streaming only is not good though. I wonder if ESPN or CBS pick up the rights for the tier 1 game each week so P12 has a presence on standard TV.

As a fan, the P12 network is cable only. Not every market has that. So streaming is superior, IMO, for the 2nd and 3rd tier games.

What you'd miss is the ESPN or Fox coverage of the biggest games. If it's UW vs. Oregon, they'll get the fans to stream it. But will they get interest from national markets the way Fox and ESPN can?

I'm not so sure. I'd sell the tier 1 to a main stream network...but I'm betting AMZN is only interested in paying a premium for tier 1 content.
