We saw both Coastal and SDSU exploit it.
Our Defense allowing opposing offenses to chip away at us, get multiple first downs, eat up tons of clock, and only stiffen up when we are close to our own red zone.
This wears out the defense, we lose the time of possession, and our because our offense is more quick striking, our D is constantly on the field. And the result is our offense gets fewer possessions it seems.
I hope we see something different vs. UCF. I hope we bring enough guys to stop the run and stop allowing 4-5 yards on first down. I feel we need to commit to stopping the run by bringing more guys, disguising blitzes, and not putting our D-line in a situation where they are 3 on 5 and trying to stop a rushing attack.
