the game and reduce possessions, whereas in close games or if (heaven forbid) you are down, you don't want to limit possessions, you want to do everything in your power to increase the number of possessions (this is especially true when you have a high-powered offense like BYU's).
So every game should be it's own animal and even in the middle of the game you might switch from wanting a lot of possessions at the beginning to not wanting a lot of possessions in the second half. Or if you are Coastal Carolina or SDSU and you are playing BYU, you want to do everything in your power to limit possessions for the game.
