The point about the behavior piece was to point out what fans do to each other
And the players. Listen to the interview. He views the ref stuff as normal. The part that made what happened at the u as abnormal from his perspective was how the fans and players were treated not the refs. Maybe he also needed to point out the irrelevant fact that refs should be treated kindly too
