And people were throwing them around the entire game. Look at all of the field goal attempts and the extra point attempts, people are throwing the little Pom Poms into the nets as they raise them.

Just about everything you see in that video of the refs is a baby Pom Pom! I did see the water bottle and that is definitely a notch higher on the idiot scale but dude, it was basically a bunch of 1 ounce baby plastic Pom Poms, hardly a scandal IMO.

I mean, you can also find videos of vile BYU fans throwing tortillas onto the field back in the day, talk about disgusting behavior.

Frankly, I wish LES was a little more crazy, it feels like a Sunday school class sometimes. Having said that, I certainly don't condone throwing anything at a ref but baby plastic Pom Poms are about as mild as it gets!
