I will say, Salt Lick has great atmosphere. You drive out to the shack in the
middle of nowhere. See the big pit with all the meat smoking. Sit at a wood table and saddle up. Great atmosphere.

I hate to be that guy but that brisket looks very dry and not very good. There are some great places in Austin

Spent no time in TX but had BBQ in AL & GA plenty. Realize TX is different. Honestly neither of those meats today were

The student is wrong and gives dubious recommendations. There are literally more than 100 places here with better BBQ
