BYU fans have been mentally damaged by the past few years
I'm being serious. Repeated losses to Utah, the loss to FSU, the loss to TCU, all have taken their toll. Most of those people in that stadium are long-term season ticket holders.
Last year against Utah, I noticed that LES was easy for the Utes to shut up. We are an easily discouraged bunch.
It wasn't always so. The 2001 Utah game, for example, was loud and raucous and fun and awesome as you will find anywhere (I've been to Autzen a number of times myself, I know what it feels like).
Just WIN BABY. Truly. That is all.
